This is debris found inside the transfer case of a Humvee:

The picture below shows a CV shaft that needed to be replaced. The shiny metal is from where the broken wheel bearing ground into the shaft.
This is the wheel hub from the same vehicle as the CV shaft. You can see the shiny metal where the broken wheel bearing has been rubbing against it. Those wire looking things that look like evidence of a ring-toss game are actually the remains of a destroyed wheel bearing.
Spark Plugs! A new plug and one from a customer's vehicle: this one is completely missing the electrode (what causes the spark) after only having been in the vehicle for a couple of weeks.
This one has a hug gap between the electrode & ground, which makes sparking more difficult and inconsistent (misfire). You can how large the gap is compared to a new plug:
